Waterjet cutting machines, configured to your material and thickness.

Standard 3 × 2 m platform, abrasive head, intensifier pump. We start from a proven configuration and only change what your work actually needs.

§01 / Fit

Who we build for.

Waterjet is a strong tool for a specific kind of shop. Before we recommend a machine, we'd rather say where it pays back fastest — and where it doesn't.

A good fit
01 — Mixed materials

You cut more than one material.

One machine for all of them — metal, stone, glass, wood, rubber, food. No tool change, no heat.

02 — Thick or exotic

You cut thick, or materials a laser can't.

Carbon steel up to 100 mm, stainless, aluminium, titanium, copper, stone slabs, thick composites. If your daily work includes any of these, waterjet is the right tool.

03 — First waterjet

You're buying your first waterjet.

We recommend a proven standard configuration and tell you what you don't need. Most first-time buyers don't need 5-axis or the largest pump option — and we'll say so.

× Not the right fit
04 — Thin steel only

Your work is mostly thin ferrous sheet.

Fiber laser is faster and cheaper for steel under ~20 mm. Waterjet wins when you also cut non-ferrous metals, stone, glass, or composites — not before.

05 — Turnkey line

You need a complete turnkey line.

We don't sell robot loading + cutting + sorting + MES as one package. If you or your integrator are building a line, we supply the cutting cell inside it.

06 — Lowest-price only

Lowest purchase price is the only criterion.

We start from a stable standard platform and only simplify where the job allows. If the decision comes down to cheapest quote wins, we'll lose — and that's fine.

§02 / Machine

Our default recommendation: the 3 × 2 m cutting table.

If you tell us about a new waterjet project and we don't hear a specific reason to go bigger, we recommend the 3 × 2 m cutting table with our standard high-pressure pump and CNC configuration. It's the model we've shipped and supported the most over 12 years.

Warranty

  • 2-year machine warranty — 24 months or 4,000 hours
  • 5-year warranty on intensifier core components
  • UHP consumables excluded
01 — Sheet fit

It fits most New Zealand shops' typical sheet sizes.

3 × 2 m handles the vast majority of metal, stone, and glass work we see across NZ shops.

02 — Cost curve

Smaller tables do not save much.

Production cost for a 2.5 × 1.5 m table is close to a 3 × 2 m. If you have the floor space, 3 × 2 m is the better value.

03 — Track record

It is the configuration we've shipped the most.

Over 12 years, this is the platform we've installed, supported, and improved at the highest volume.

Structure

Precision that holds.

The moving gantry is air-formed aluminium — lower moving mass, so dynamic accuracy holds at the full 13 m/min traverse. The base is welded carbon steel, heat-treated to relieve stress before final machining, so the geometry the machine ships with is the geometry it keeps through years of production.

Dual-side Yaskawa AC servo drive. THK linear guides, HIWIN ball screws. Rated for a 500 kg/m² table load and a 15-year design life.

The first machine we delivered to New Zealand has been relocated twice since 2015 — and is still in daily production. [Read the case →]

§03 / Pumps

Three pump setups for three realities.

Most customers get the standard pump. Think about a different setup only when thickness, output, or maintenance continuity really changes the job.

Default · most customers

WCM-P60IV — 4th-generation intensifier.

For typical metal, stone, and glass work

Handles the standard thickness range across the materials most NZ shops cut day to day. This is what comes on the default 3 × 2 m machine, and the configuration we've shipped at the highest volume over the last twelve years.

If you don't have a specific reason to upgrade, this is the one.

Best for
Standard mixed work

Which pump fits your work?

  • Your typical material and thickness mix — what you cut on most days, not the edge case.
  • Your expected daily cutting hours — single-shift, two-shift, or continuous.
  • Whether planned downtime for maintenance is acceptable, or whether the line must keep running.
§04 / Options

Optional additions to the standard platform.

We do not push upgrades by default. If you do not need one, we will say so.

Optional upgrades

  • 01
    5-axis cutting head

For taper compensation, bevel cuts, or complex 3D geometries. Most first-time buyers do not need 5-axis.

  • 02
    Pure waterjet head

For non-abrasive materials such as food, rubber, foam, or soft composites.

  • 03
    Water chiller / closed-loop cooling

Recommended in hot climates or for continuous production environments.

  • 04
    Abrasive removal / recycling

For higher-volume operations where abrasive handling becomes a bottleneck.

  • 05
    Enclosure / sound shielding

For shops in shared buildings or noise-regulated zones.

Other table sizes

  • A
    4 × 2 m

A common choice when sheets or slabs exceed 3 m on the long side.

  • B
    2 × 6 m

For narrow, long materials such as tube panels or long architectural stone strips.

  • C
    Up to 5 × 10 m

Built to order for specialized projects. Custom design lead time applies.

Tell us your typical material size when you request a quote, and we'll confirm the right fit. We don't push table size; we match it.

§05 / Cases

Delivering to New Zealand since 2015.

The first VICHOR machine ever sent to New Zealand was installed in Waiuku, South Auckland in January 2016. We've been adding customers — and supporting that first machine — ever since.
